How do you handle communication throughout a remodel?
We keep it simple and personal. You’ll have one main point of contact, usually one of the owners, who checks in regularly. We’re always just a call or text away if questions pop up. In addition to phone calls and emails, you will also have access to our project management software, JobTread, where you can easily view your estimates, invoices, communications, and scheduling all in one convenient place. You’ll never feel like you’re chasing us down or left wondering what’s next.
Can you help guide us with design and product choices?
Definitely. Many of our clients know what they don’t want, but aren’t sure where to start when it comes to choosing fixtures, tile, layout or finishes. We’re happy to offer design guidance through our trusted partners. You can also visit our showrooms, or if you prefer, we can bring samples directly to your home, so you can make decisions in the space where they matter most.
How long will the project take?
The duration of your remodel depends on the size and scope, but we’ll give you a detailed timeline before we begin. We value your time and aim to keep things moving efficiently without compromising on quality. We also build in breathing room for unexpected delays, so your experience stays smooth and low stress.
Do we need to move out during the remodel?
Usually not. For most remodels or updates, you can stay in your home. We’ll work to keep the mess contained and your space as functional as possible. If it’s a larger job or involves major plumbing or electrical work, we’ll let you know in advance and help you plan accordingly. If you’re remodeling your kitchen, we’re happy to help set up a temporary cooking space so you can continue caring for your family with minimal disruption.

Do you offer a warranty on your work?
Yes, we stand behind everything we do.Depending on the type of project, our remodeling work includes a one to three year workmanship warranty. If something doesn’t seem quite right after we’re done, we’ll come back and make it right.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We’re fully licensed and insured in the state of Wisconsin. And, we are also licensed with the City of Milwaukee. You can feel confident knowing that you’re working with professionals who are committed to taking the time to do things the right way without shortcuts.

How much can I expect to pay for my remodel?
Every remodel is unique, which means costs can vary depending on the size, scope, and materials you choose. At HoneyDew, we provide a detailed, line-by-line estimate tailored to your project. Thanks to our advanced estimating and design software, we’re often able to give you a clear price range during your first home visit.
We also use material allowances, which give you flexibility during the design phase to choose finishes and fixtures that suit your style and budget.
Do you offer financing or payment plans?
Yes. Through our partnership with Acorn, we offer financing options that connect you with multiple lenders to find competitive rates that work for you. In addition, we structure your project with clearly scheduled payment milestones, so you can plan your budget with confidence. We’ll always be upfront about costs.
How do you handle unexpected issues or costs during a remodel?
Nobody likes surprises, especially when it comes to home projects. That’s why we build in buffer time and contingency allowances into our estimates. During the planning process, we talk through possible variables so you know what you can expect. And, if something changes, we communicate right away. We never move forward without your approval, providing you with options to ensure you always stay informed and in control.
Can we do the remodel in stages?
Yes, and sometimes it’s actually a smarter strategy. We can help map out a phased plan that keeps your budget in check and minimizes family disruption while still achieving your long-term vision.
