About Blimie

Blimie (blee-me) is a proud Canadian who’s made Milwaukee home, and she brings a background in graphic design and storytelling photography to every space she designs.

For over a decade, Blimie worked as a professional photographer, capturing the everyday beauty of family life — the small, real moments that make a house feel lived-in and loved. That work, paired with her graphic design background, shaped how she thinks about balance, flow, light, and color — the things that make a room feel harmonious rather than just decorated.

Along the way, Blimie found herself helping friends and family reimagine their own homes — what started as casual advice grew into a genuine passion for space planning and design. Today, thoughtful planning is the foundation of everything she does: making sure a room doesn’t just look beautiful, but works seamlessly for the people living in it. Whether it’s a single room or a full home, she combines creativity with careful planning to create spaces that are practical, inviting, and unmistakably personal.

Recognition

Blimie’s photography has been featured in People Magazine and exhibited at galleries and photo festivals across the country, including the Florida Museum of Photographic Art and PhotoMidwest. She’s also a multiple award winner at the Wisconsin State Fair and co-founder of the Storytellers Photo Conference, the first conference dedicated to family documentary photography.
