My path to interior design began with a love of visual storytelling.

About Blimie

Blimie (blee-me) is a proud Canadian who’s made Milwaukee home, and she brings a background in graphic design and storytelling photography to every space she designs.

For more than a decade, I worked as a professional photographer, and before that, I spent years in graphic design. Both taught me to pay close attention to light, color, visual balance, and the small details that make a space feel just right.

Along the way, I found myself helping friends and family reimagine their homes, and what started as casual advice grew into a real passion for space planning and design. Today, I bring that same creative eye to residential projects, combining thoughtful planning and technical knowledge with a deep understanding of how people actually live. My goal is to create spaces that are beautiful, functional, and feel uniquely like the people who call them home.

Recognition

Blimie’s photography has been featured in People Magazine and exhibited at galleries and photo festivals across the country, including the Florida Museum of Photographic Art and PhotoMidwest. She’s also a multiple award winner at the Wisconsin State Fair and co-founder of the Storytellers Photo Conference, the first conference dedicated to family documentary photography.
