Proposal and Approval

Approximately 2-3 Weeks

We begin with an initial phone conversation and review your photos of the space to provide you with a ballpark price range based on similar projects we have completed in the past. This estimate is a helpful starting point for determining if we’re a good fit for your project. Once you approve the ballpark estimate, we visit your space to take detailed measurements and discuss your vision in-depth. During this step, we also create your first detailed proposal. Transparency is key during this phase—we want you to fully understand the scope, process, and details of your remodeling project. When the proposal meets your approval and the agreement is signed, we’re ready to embark on the exciting journey of transforming your space.

Design and Planning

Approximately 8-12 weeks

With a 10% down payment, our design team gets to work turning your vision into reality. Using advanced design tools, we create 2D and 3D renderings that allow you to fully visualize your new space. We collaborate with you to finalize materials, finishes, and layouts that fit your style and functional needs. Through open communication and thoughtful refinements, we ensure every detail is perfect before moving forward. This phase is where creativity meets precision, setting the foundation for a space that feels uniquely yours.

Pre-Construction

Approximately 4-8 weeks

As we approach the start date, our team prepares every detail to ensure a smooth process. We handle all necessary permits and ensure your home is ready for construction. This includes discussing how we’ll protect your home, which areas will be cleared, and any preparations you’ll need to make.

We also review the payment schedule so you know exactly when payments will be made. During this phase, we’ll familiarize you with our communication tools and software, keeping you informed every step of the way. We’ll also coordinate with you regarding on-site storage for materials and tools—typically in your garage or another agreed-upon space.

Construction and Execution

Timeline varies by project

This is where the magic happens! Our skilled craftsmen begin bringing your design to life with meticulous attention to detail and unparalleled craftsmanship. From demolition to installation to the final finishing touches, we handle everything while ensuring the project stays on schedule and meets your high standards.

We keep you informed throughout the process with regular updates via phone calls, texts, emails, and our project management software. With HoneyDew, you’ll always know what’s happening in your home.

Final Walkthrough and Completion

Approximately 1-2 weeks

Once construction is complete, we’ll walk through the space with you to ensure every detail exceeds your expectations. We’ll address any final adjustments and won’t leave until we know you’re thrilled with the results. At this time, we may also schedule a session for final project photos, if needed.
