The Project

This Glendale condo on Green Tree Rd got a true whole-home refresh built around a palette that feels as open as the space itself. The heart of it was the kitchen — closed off from the rest of the home by a wall and a couple of partial doors — which we opened into the great room, building a custom peninsula in its place and topping it with natural wood cabinetry and quartz countertops with soft, natural veining. Skylights above the kitchen flood the space with daylight, and a full-height quartz backsplash carries that same organic movement up the wall. Wood slat walls behind the TV, fluted glass accents, and natural wood LVP flooring add texture and warmth throughout, while touches of sky blue echo the openness overhead. That same open, grounded feel carried through the foyer, dining area, and bedrooms, with a rebuilt Powder Room, a refreshed walk-in closet, and a custom built-in bookshelf in the home office. The result is a condo that feels wildly spacious — wide open where it used to be closed off, warm and natural where it used to be ordinary.
